Extra support and structure in a fun, caring environment...
The TOPSoccer program is a division of the River Dell Soccer Association that provides the benefits of sports activity and participation for children who require extra support and structure. Soccer drills and activities are run in a fun, caring, structured environment for boys and girls ages 5-8 with special needs.
Weekly practice sessions establish a non-competitive atmosphere to nurture a successful experience and build positive self esteem. Emphasis is placed on understanding fundamentals of the game, learning teamwork and fair play, and developing physical fitness and coordination skills.
The RDSA TOPSoccer Division is organized by dedicated volunteers. Volunteer high school and middle school students who would like to participate as mentors or buddies on the field at practices are encouraged to contact a league representative listed below. A two-hour mentor training program and certification with proof of community service hours will be provided.
Professional soccer instruction for JR.TOPSoccer players is provided by professional instructors. Players 10 to 16 years of age participate in a dedicated Senior TOPSoccer division. Players have trained, certified mentor soccer buddies which assist in instruction and supervision.
